IPL 2022: Chennai & Kolkata To Kick Off 10-Team Season On March 26 At Wankhede - Check Complete Schedule

In a duration of 65 days, 4 Playoff games and 70 league matches will be played. IPL 2022's last league match will be played on 22nd May between Hyderabad and Punjab in Mumbai.

New Delhi: IPL 2022 complete schedule was released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday. The first match of IPL 15 will be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on 26th March at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium. This season, the day matches will start at 3.30 pm IST and the evening matches will start at 7.30 pm IST.

In a duration of 65 days, 4 Playoff games and 70 league matches will be played. IPL 2022's last league match will be played on 22nd May between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The addition of two new teams, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, have made the tournament a 10-team affair. Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will lock horns on March 28. Both these teams will play their first match at the Wankhede Stadium.

Each team will play against 5 teams twce and the remaining 4 teams only once (2 matches at home, 2 away). All the teams will play 4 matches each at Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium, 3 matches each at Brabourne Stadium (CCI) and MCA International Stadium, Pune.

Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Supergiants

Group B: Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
