New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday released the final list of players shortlisted for this year's much-awaited mega auction, set to take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.


A total of 590 players will go under the hammer in the auction. Every player has fixed his base price. The highest base price is 2 crore. 48 players have set their base price of 2 crores. This is followed by the second-highest base price of Rs 1.5 crore. A total of 20 players have set 1.5 crore as their base price.

34 players are taking part in the IPL 15 auction with a base price of one crore. Talking about the total players participating in this auction, out of 590 players, a total of 228 players are capped players while 355 are uncapped players. Seven players are from associate countries.


Here's the list of players who have registered their names in the list of base price of 1.5 crore. Three players in this list are from the West Indies, while three players are from India. Five players are from New Zealand. Four players are from Australia. Five players are from England.

Now that the list of players is finalized, all 10 IPL teams will come to the auction after deciding their combination, try to buy the best players. A total of 10 franchises are participating in this year's auction. The addition of two new franchises, Lucknow and Ahmedabad, made the IPL  tournament a 10-team affair.
