Defending champions Mumbai Indians defeated Rajasthan Royals in the 24th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited Rajasthan Royals to bat first after which Rajasthan scored 171 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Mumbai Indians chased down the target after losing just three wickets in 18.3 overs to win the high-octane thriller by seven wickets, after two back-to-back defeats. Mumbai now have 6 points from 6 matches and are ranked fourth in the IPL 2021 Points Table.

Suryakumar Yadav failed to deliver with the bat against Rajasthan Royals in the match as scored 16 runs off 10 balls and perished on Chris Morris' delivery. However, Suryakumar Yadav's heart-warming romantic gesture for his wife Devisha Shetty won the hearts of fans.
