A funny incident took place during the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals on April 29. The incident happened in the 18th over Mumbai Indians' innings, when a lethal smacker delivery from Rajasthan's star all-rounder hit Kieron Pollard on his helmet.

Fortunately, the blow on Pollard's helmet did not harm him but eventually benefited him as it went down all the way for a four and even fielder Sanju Samson failed to stop it. Everyone was left in splits after seeing Pollard cheering for the ball to go to the boundary ropes.

As per the protocol, Mumbai Indians' physio was later seen examining Kieron Pollard for a possible concussion but found nothing to worry about. After the incident, Chris Morris also asked Pollard whether he got hurt.

Kieron Pollard returned with an unbeaten 16 off eight balls with two fours and a six.  The hard-hitting Windies batsman hit winning runs for Mumbai's victory. Along with him, MI opener Quinton de Kock also remained unbeaten as he scored 70 runs off 50 balls with six fours and two sixes.

Quality spells from Rahul Chahar and Jaspit Bumrah and excellent innings of Quinton De Kock helped Mumbai Indians beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in the 24th match of IPL 2021 at Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi. This is Mumbai's third win this season. With this victory, the defending champions jumped to number four spot in the IPL 2021 Points Table.

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals scored 171/4 in 20. In reply, Mumbai Indians chased down the target easily, losing just three wickets in 18.3 overs.
