'Itna Pressure Toh Shaadi Ke Time Nahi Tha': Yuzvendra Chahal Reacts To India's Thrilling Win

The Board of Control for Cricket in India posted a video via their official Twitter handle in which Axar Patel can be seen chatting with Avesh Khan and leggie Yuzvendra Chahal.

New Delhi: Shikhar Dhawan-led second-string Indian cricket team defeated West Indies by 2 wickets in the second One-Day-International to seal the three-match series 2-1 on Sunday. The second ODI went down to the very last over in which Axar Patel showed class as he hit the fourth ball of this 50th over for a six to seal a sensational win. The spinner played a match-winning inning of 64 runs off 35 balls at the Port of Spain. Axar remained not out and hit three fours and five sixes during his knock. The off-spinner attained his ODI career's first fifty in this match and won player of the match award for his scintillating knock.

Post India's win over Windies, the Board of Control for Cricket in India posted a video via their official Twitter handle in which Axar Patel can be seen chatting with Avesh Khan and leggie Yuzvendra Chahal. The trio can be seen discussing the tense last few overs and how Axar's heroics helped India win the series.

"I bit all my nails off. The pressure was too much sitting outside. Itna pressure toh shaadi ke time nahi tha," Chahal said to Avesh Khan and Axar Patel.

Axar had come out to bat at number seven when India needed 107 runs for the win from 11.2 overs. With the last two balls remaining, Axar delivered a well-timed six to help India chase down mammoth 312 runs.

The third and final ODI match of the Ind vs WI ODI series is to be played on July 27. After this, a five-match T20 International series is also to be played between the two teams.  Along with the T20 series, Rohit Sharma will also return to the India squad.
