New Delhi: Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team defeated South Africa by 16 runs in Ind vs SA 2nd T20 International to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. With this win, the Men in Blue won a T20 series against South Africa for the first time at home. Batting first at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, fiery fifties from KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav helped India post a huge total of 237 runs.

A video of Indian captain Rohit Sharma is becoming very viral on social media. Everyone on social media is praising India skippers' dedication in the crucial match.

When the South African team was batting, Rohit Sharma was seen bleeding from his nose all of a sudden, most likely due to Guwahati's humidity. The incident happened in the 12th over of South Africa innings. Despite this, the senior opener remained on the field and he did not go out. He used a towel immediately to wipe his nose and meanwhile kept instructing bowler Harshal Patel as well as players on the field.

However, Rohit later went off the field for some time. His dedication and commitment won the hearts of fans who hailed the Indian skipper for doing the job despite not being perfectly fine.

Team India already have won the three-match T20I series 2-0, following the series-clinching win in Guwahati on Sunday. As per a PTI report, Virat Kohli reportedly won't be playing the third and final T20 international between India and South Africa on Tuesday in Indore.

"He has been rested from the final T20I," a BCCI official told PTI.

"After the final game against the Proteas, Kohli will link up with the squad in Mumbai from where the team is scheduled to leave for Australia on October 6 for the T20 World Cup," PTI reported.
