New Delhi: One former cricketer who often says things that give Indian cricket fans and players a sour taste in their mouths is Pakistan's Shahid Afridi. He has made controversial remarks in the past regarding India and Indian cricketers, and despite receiving harsh criticism from the fans, it appears he is not willing to change his ways.

Harbhajan's laugh at Shahid Afridi's comment on Gautam Gambhir on a show angered Indian fans on Twitter, who found Shahid Afridi's remark on Gautam Gambhir quite unpleasant.

Afridi participated in a debate produced by an Indian news channel ahead of Sunday's high-octane Asia Cup 2022 match between India and Pakistan. Harbhajan Singh, a former India spinner, was also a participant in the debate show.

During an India vs Pakistan ODI match in 2007, Shahid Afridi and Gautam Gambhir got into an argument, and the footage is still popular among fans of both nations. Since then, the two cricketers have had a rocky relationship.

"I've never actually fought a player from India. I sometimes disagree with Gautam Gambhir on social media. Gautam is such a character, in my opinion, that even Indian players don't like him. My whole playing experience versus India has been fantastic, "On the program, Afridi stated.
