Captain Virat Kohli is in tremendous batting form in the ongoing India vs England ODI series. Even though the wait for his century is getting longer, Kohli is continuously scoring half-centuries and contributing to the team's victory with heroic knocks.


The flamboyant India batsman on Friday went to play a fiery 66-run innings in India vs England second ODI at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Captain Virat Kohli has made the record of scoring 10,000 runs while batting at number three position. Kohli is the only other batsman in the world to do so. Before him, only former Australian captain Ricky Ponting managed to attain this feat.


Virat Kohli is the batsman with the most centuries in international cricket after icon Sachin Tendulkar. The star player has so far scored 70 centuries in international cricket. In Test cricket, Virat has scored 27 centuries while in ODIs he has scored 43 centuries.

After scoring a half-century in a T20I game against England, Virat has now scored two consecutive half-centuries in the first two ODIs. 


Team India scored 336 runs while batting first in the Ind vs Eng 2nd ODI. While KL Rahul hit a magnificent century, Rishabh Pant and captain Virat Kohli contributed with their respective half-centuries.
