Chester-le-Street (Durham): The five-match Test series between India and England is to begin from August 4. Before the start of the Ind vs Eng Test series, Indian cricket team's star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has joined the Indian Test team after recovering from the dreaded Coronavirus and completing isolation.

Rishabh Pant has been in very good form for some time now and the team management has high hopes from him on the tour of England.  The final match of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand got over on June 23, after which Team India got a break of about 21-22 days. During this break, Pant tested positive for Covid-19 and had been in isolation for two weeks since testing positive.

Pant joined Team India back on July 22 and also received a grand welcome. Head coach Ravi Shastri's tweet on Pant's return is becoming very viral on Twitter.

All the members of Team India gathered in Durham on 15-16 July to prepare against England.  Pant has now entered the bio bubble with the team after completing his isolation and testing negative in the RT-PCR test.  On the return of Pant, Ravi Shastri wrote,"Covid return back in the house. Brilliant. Noisier dressing room already @RishabhPant17 #TeamIndia"

Fans also trolled Shastri for this tweet.

India's other wicketkeeper on the tour, Wriddhiman Saha is still in isolation along with bowling coach Bharat Arun and standby batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran for being in contact with Garani. The trio is expected to come out of isolation on July 24.
