Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddh Nagar district on Sunday recorded 11 new Covid-19 cases, taking the state’s tally to 25,755.
District Surveillance Officer Dr Sunil Dohra said two patients recuperated from the coronavirus post treatment while 65 others are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

115 Covid-19 Patients In Lucknow:
Monitoring Officer, COVID-19 prevention, said so far 25, 4562 patients in the district have recovered after treatment. 91 people have died due to infection. There has been an upsurge in corona cases in the state. In the last 24 hours, 442 cases surfaced. Of these, 115 cases have been found only in Lucknow where a person died.
State Hospitals Put On Alert:
The state government is, however, prepared to deal with any situation following the surge in coronavirus cases. In tune with the same, Covid-19 hospitals have been put on alert. Level one hospitals will be activated within five days if needed. At present, there are 17,500 beds in level two and level three hospitals. As of now, the number of level one hospitals has been reduced significantly in view of the non-Covid patients but they will be reactivated if needed.

This comes in the wake of the alarming increase in Covid-19 cases across the country particularly in the states of Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
