The temperatures will hover around the 18-20 mark with a hint of breeze making it ideal playing conditions for bowlers. PITCH REPORT Much like the other stadiums in New Zealand, the boundaries are relatively smaller and hence the spectators are in for a treat with power-packed strokemakers on either sides raring to unleash their explosive strokeplay. The deck at the Westpac Stadium is a hard and flat strip one where batsman would love to play through the line. However, the breeze factor at the Westpac Stadium makes for seam friendly conditions which the seam bowlers can extract in the early stages of the game. Spinners could come into play as it is a drop in pitch so there could be some turn on offer.
