New Delhi: Pakistan women's cricket team may have lost their World Cup fixture against arch-rivals India, but skipper of the 'girls in green', Bismah Maroof, still managed to win hearts of fans on internet! Maroof's love and dedication for the sport was seen on Sunday during IND-W vs PAK-W ICC Women’s World Cup match as the star player was spotted arriving at the stadium with her six-month-old in her arms.


In August last year, Pakistan skipper Bismah Maroof became a mother. Today, her daughter made her stadium debut during India vs Pakistan World Cup match in New Zealand's Mount Maunganui.






Due to her pregnancy, Maroof was thinking about retiring from cricket. But she decided to play the World Cup this year. Her return to the cricket field after becoming a mother has given a big boost to women's cricket in Pakistan.  Everyone is looking at Maroof as a hero. She has become an inspiration not only for women in Pakistan and all over the world.
