Watch: Cristiano Ronaldo Hits Out At Al-Nassr Teammates Post Facing Loss In Saudi League

Going into the clash between two top sides, all eyes were on Ronaldo since he scored eight goals in four matches in February.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a depressing night when his team Al-Nassr were defeated  1-0 by Al-Ittihad. He was spotted lashing out at his teammates after the loss. There is still a lot of Football left in the SPL season, but this win will give a lot of confidence to Nuno Espirito Santo's team. They have now outplayed Al-Nassr twice since Ronaldo started playing for the club.

The 38-year-old also failed to score in his last two matches and it was quite evident on his face. He was seen as frustrated after the final whistle took place. Romarinho was the only one who scored the goal in the top-of-the-table game in the Saudi Pro League in Jeddah in the 80th minute of the game.

Going into the clash between two top sides, all eyes were on Ronaldo since he scored eight goals in four matches in February. But then he completely failed to make it count and struggled to inspire his team to victory. Since 2018, Ittihad hasn't suffered a loss to Al-Nassr in the league.

Fans started criticizing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner on Twitter. One of the fans wrote, "Another hall of shame performance for Cristiano Ronaldo for my Al Nassr. Aboubakar & Talisca were sidelined for this $200 million dollar man MAJOR mistake. And now we aren’t 1st! Get him out of my club."

Ronaldo had one chance just ahead of the interval but then his snap-shot was brilliantly defended by Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe, however, the Portuguese star was offside anyway. Al-Nassr will now be returning to the field on March 14 as they will play against Abha in the quarter-finals of the King Cup of Champions at Mrsool Park.
