Manchester United New Manager: Manchester United have confirmed the appointment of Ruben Amorim as the club's new head coach. The 39-year-old Portuguese manager will join from Sporting Lisbon on November 11 and has signed a contract that keeps him at Old Trafford until June 2027.
Ruud van Nistelrooy, former United striker who took over interim coaching duties following Erik ten Hag's dismissal on Monday, will continue in his role for United's next three matches.

Meanwhile, Sporting Lisbon confirmed that Manchester United activated a €10 million (£8.3 million) release clause to secure Amorim’s move to the Premier League, as claimed in a report carried by BBC.

Amorim's First Fixture With Manchester United On November 24
Ruben Amorim's first fixture with Manchester United will take place on November 24 against newly promoted Ipswich Town, shortly after the international break. His Old Trafford debut will be against Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on November 28, with his first Premier League home game scheduled against Everton soon after.
Manchester United are yet to reveal Amorim’s coaching staff, with further announcements expected in the coming days.
After a challenging start to the season, including a Portuguese Super Cup loss to rivals Porto on August 3, Amorim has led Sporting Lisbon on an impressive 14-match unbeaten streak.
