Paulo Fonseca Pleased With His Side's Performance
The AC Milan manager was full of praise for his side after their 3-1 win against Real Madrid, and the Portuguese hailed the quality of football his side played at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I am pleased with the result, but also the performance. We played good football, especially in the first half, against a top team. Not many sides can come here and do what we did," said Paulo Foseco to Milan TV, in the post-match interview.
"In the second-half, I think that Real Madrid were always going to react. We dug together and held on at the end, but we must not forget that this team were losing 2-0 in their last Champions League game and then scored 5 goals," the AC Milan manager added.
