The Messi vs Ronaldo debate has long been a source of intense division among football fans worldwide. Fans of both football legends, who have ruled the sport for decades, argue passionately about who is the better footballer, citing individual achievements, playing styles and impact on the game. Currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League (SPL), Cristiano Ronaldo, for the first time, said that while some may prefer Lionel Messi, Pele or Maradona, he is the ‘most complete’ footballer ever.
In a conversation with Spain’s La Sexta TV, Ronaldo said, "Not being left-footed, I am in the 'top 10' of players who have scored the most goals with the left foot and with the header, penalties, free kicks; let's not even talk about the right foot."

Ronaldo expressed that while he respects opinions about preferring Messi, Pele, or Maradona, he believes it is a lie to say he isn't the most complete player. He confidently stated that he sees no one better than himself and truly believes that from the heart.
"I think I'm the most complete player that has ever existed. I do everything in football. I play well with my head, I take good free kicks, I have a left foot, a right foot, I'm strong, I go out. I’m the most complete player ever. To say that Cristiano isn’t complete is a lie. You may prefer Pele, Messi, Maradona, I understand and respect that," he added.
Upon being asked, "Are you the best in history?" by the host, Ronaldo replied, "I think so, I have not seen anyone better than me. I tell you this from the heart."
