Manchester United Vs Fulham, Premier League 2024/25 Matchday 1 HIGHLIGHTS

Manchester United struggled against a spirited and determined Fulham side, as the Cottagers caused immense trouble on the wings with the likes of Alex Iwobi and Adama Traore in their ranks. The first half looked extremely shaky, as Andre Onana saved the home side's blemishes with outrageous saves.

The second-half was off to an energetic start, as both sides made constant attacks and caused threat with their off-the-ball movements. However, the visitors were extremely wasteful, as Emile Smith Rowe and Rodrigo Muniz failed to convert the good chances.

After a period of hits and misses, the final breakthrough moment came in the 87th minute, when Manchester United's brilliant counter-attack started with a body feint on the left side from Bruno Fernandes inside his own half, and the pass was met by Casemiro, who then laid the ball to Alejandro Granacho, and Josh Zirkzee met the cross from the Argentine to score a first-touch finish goal into the bottom-left corner of Bernd Leno.

For his clutch performance, the Dutchman was awarded the Player of the Match, as Manchester United defeated Fulham 1-0.
