Widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers ever to have played the game, Lionel Messi made headlines for his gesture off the field. The incident happened when Messi was visibly stuck in the middle of traffic. However, when a fan approached him to sign an Argentina jersery, the 36-year-old did not lose his cool but instead showed a heartfelt gesture by interacting with the fan and signing the autograph for him.

"Please, Leo. You are the greatest thing in the world. I love you, Leo. You just fulfilled my son’s dream, I can’t believe it. You have no idea what you just did. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. I love you," Messi's fan can be heard saying in the video. The clip went viral in no time on social media.
