Lorient Vs PSG: Paris St Germain forward Kylian Mbappe produced a scintillating piece of skill during the Lorient Vs PSG Ligue 1 2023/24 fixture, as his dribbling involved a beautiful nutmeg, and a simple tap-in for Ousmane Dembele to score his second goal of the evening, and PSG's third goal, as the Parisiens thrashed Lorient 4-1. Kylian Mbappe's skill downed Lorient defender on the acute angle of the left side of the box and he stood no chance against a pacy Kylian Mbappe.
PSG travelled away to Lorient keeping in mind that a victory will all but ensure the Ligue 1 2023/24 title mathematically and they started on an aggressive note, making constant wide runs and through runs, keeping the defensive line of the home side on toes. AS Monaco were up against fellow Top 4 side Lille and any points dropped would have made PSG the champions. However, AS Monaco did not disappoint the home fans and came out with a 1-0 win, thanks to a 61st minute goal from midfielder Youssouf Fofana. AS Monaco last won the French league title in the 2016/17, when that all-iconic side of AS Monaco contained the likes of Bernardo Silva, Radamael Falcao, Kylian Mappe and many more. PSG can now win the title at home with a victory against Le Havre in their next Ligue 1 fixture.
