Chelsea FC are having one of the worst seasons in their storied history as The Blues are languishing at 10th in the ongoing Premier League season. New signings haven't come fruitful yet and one of them is Mykhalo Mudryk, as the Ukranian has registered only 4 goals and 3 assists in 12 months at the club, after signing with the English club from Shaktar Donetsk in January 2023.
The Ukranian is having a troubled time at the Stamford Bridge and is finding his spot in danger within the squad as rumours are floating of an ongoing drift with manager Mauricio Pochettino. However, the Argentinian coach has commented on the rumour and cleared some air regarding it.
The BlueCo Era Of Chelsea FC
Ever since their popular takeover on 7 May 2022 by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter, and Hansjorg Wyss, the club as seen immense lot of funds invested within the club, and also on transfers as The Blues were seemed to write a successful takeover story, just like their rivals Manchester City did a decade ago. The takeover saw the owners name the faction as BlueCo., and the UK government approved the 4.25 billion euros takeover.
The London-based club saw its greatest and most successful reign under the ownership of the Russian business tycoon Roman Abramovich, but the long and beloved association of the Russian with the English club came to an end due to the commencement of the Russia-Ukraine war and the 19-year old affair hence came to an end, when the UK Government tried to froze the assets of the Russian.
However, after several transfers, loan deals, signings, nothing of it has come fruitful yet as for Chelsea faithful, even thinking of a title challenge is in their wildest dreams, and any sort of a Top 4 finish in the league, or making a case for any sort of silverware is also seeming like a distant dream for a club, that had literally won UEFA Champions League back in 2021, under the legendary coach, Thomas Tuchel.
