Igor Jesus: Even though it wasn't the best of performance from Brazil in their FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Chile on Thursday (October 10), they still managed to register a 2-1 win. It was a debut to remember for Igor Jesus who found the equaliser for Brazil after they had conceded an early goal in only the second minute of the match with Eduardo Vargas scoring for Chile at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martinez Pradanos in Chile.

In the end, it needed an 89th minute winner from Luiz Henrique for Brazil to get the three points. Notably, Brazil had entered the game after a deeat to Paraguay. On top of that they found themselves trailing in the match after having conceded an early goal. However, the Selecao Canarinho found a way to get on top with the help of Igor Jesus' and Luiz Henrique's goal.

Chile Wasted Their Chances To Extend Lead

Despite their impressive performance, it largely remained a match of what could have been for Chile. They had their chances to further extend their lead after their opening goal but failed to convert their chances and eventually saw Brazil get away with all the points from the match with Chile succumbing to a defeat at home.
