Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, ever since been sacked by Serie A club AS Roma, has opened up regarding it for the first time. The legendary manager cleared the air off the matter, which was a subject to lots of suspense and unsolved riddles as he was the same man who led AS Roma to their first ever European glory few seasons ago, by winning the UEFA Europa Conference League. In an interview with Five UK, the now free-agent manager stated that when to comes to the major decision making, it's the club's owners that take the call, even if it goes against the fans sometimes.
Jose Mourinho Opens Up On Manchester United Departure And Affection With The Club
Jose Mourinho didn't just talk about his recent sacking, but also about the highly infamous sacking from Manchester United back in first half of the 2018/19 season. Such was his affection with the club that whenever he stepped on the sidelines of the iconic Old Trafford, his passion spoke volumes and in the interview with Five UK, he had the following to say:
"I love Manchester United and the fans. I hope everything goes well. I am waiting as soon as possible for Man United to become again your Man United that I fell in love with," said Jose Mourinho in an interview with Man United legend Rio Ferdinand.
Also, speaking on his highly successful 2017/18 season with the Red Devils, he added the following:
"Maybe there is a chance that we win that league, no? Because if Man City are found guilty in Financial Fair Play and they are breaking the rules... they lose a few points and maybe we win that title!"
