UEFA Europa League Round Of 32: AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek continues his sensational run of form in all competitions this season as the Englishman grabbed a brilliant brace in their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 first leg fixture against Ligue 1 club Rennes. This makes the midfielder match an iconic feat of club legend Ricardo Kaka, as he becomes the first AC Milan midfielder to score a brace in a European knockout fixture since Kaka's brace against Manchester United in UEFA Champions League 2006/07.

The 2007 Ballon d'Or winner has been one of the greatest players in the history of football and his antics for the Rossoneri have led the club achieve loads of silverware, and the AC Milan faithful will be much pleased to see another midfielder matching the feats of the Brazilian icon.

AC Milan Vs Rennes UEFA Europa League Round Of 32 First Leg - Match Report

AC Milan hosted Ligue 1 club Rennes in their UEFA Europa League Round Of 32 First Leg match at the iconic San Siro Stadium in Milan, on February 16, as the Serie A club looked to make amends for their heart-breaking third place finish in the UEFA Champions League group stage this season.

The Rossoneri are having a terrific season and have fared well in the Serie A so far. The 7-time European champions came agonisingly close to finishing second in their UEFA Champions League group stage but Borussia Dortmund and Paris St Germain prevailed to see yet another day in the apex continental competition this season.

AC Milan did justice to their form and momentum as they ran past a clueless Rennes side, who looked completely out of sorts, as a brilliant brace from Englishman Ruben Loftus-Cheek and a goal from Portuguese sensation Rafael Leao sealed a 3-0 win for Stefan Pioli's men and hold a cushion of advantage walking into the second leg.
