La Liga: La Liga President Javier Tebas has give out an official statement in concern with troubled and infamous footballer Mason Greenwood, who is currently playing for Getafe in La Liga. The Spaniard has stated that he doesn't care about the past and now that the football has come out clean and not condemned, he is looking forward to Englishman's development in the top tier of the Spanish divisions. The former Manchester United starlet has had a troubled past year, with rape case and allegations leading to Manchester United ousting the academy product out of the squad.






 


Mason Greenwood's Career In A Nutshell


Mason Greenwood burst on to the scene during his initial season with Manchester United, when the forward was promoted from academy to the main roster. His 2018/19 season saw him make merely 4 appearances in all competitions, as he made his debut in the latter half of the season. 


He blossomed in the 2019/20 season, as the Englishman managed 17 goals and 3 assists in all competitions that season. He further went on to blossom for Red Devils, as he became a fan favourite at Old Trafford. However, 2022 proved to be the ultimate downfall of the player, who was blessed with both the feet ability and immense footballing skills, as he was accused of rape allegations, which led the footballer miss out 18 months of his professional football career.


However, the player got a second lifeline with La Liga club Getafe and has hit the ground up and running, as the 22-year old has registered 7 goals and 5 assists in all competitions so far.
