New Delhi: After treating the audience to ‘Pathaan’s first song, ‘Besharam Rang’, Shah Rukh Khan will now appear during the current FIFA World Cup final in Qatar. The Bollywood star will be present on December 18 at the pre-game show of France vs. Argentina.


The 57-year-old actor is making every effort to promote his new spy thriller, Pathaan’, which marks his comeback to the big screen after a four-year hiatus.


Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday shared a video to Instagram with action footage from past fights to inform his fans of the news. “Mbappe… studio mein @WayneRooney aur main… #Pathaan! 18 Dec ki shaam hogi shaandaar! Dekhiye #FIFAWorldCup Final mere saath,” the caption read.






In the brief clip, the actor is also heard saying the now-famous dialogue from the 'Pathaan' teaser, "Apni kursi ki peti bandha lo, mausam bigadne wala hai."


The actor will be present at a studio alongside Wayne Rooney to watch the FIFA World Cup 2022 final between Kylian Mbappe's France and Lionel Messi's Argentina.


After a break of more than four years, Shah Rukh Khan will return to the big screen with 'Pathaan'. The much-anticipated film is the fourth instalment of the spy series produced by Yash Raj Films under the direction of Siddharth Anand. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone will play major roles in the thriller.


'Pathaan' is slated to release in the theatres on January 25, 2023.
