Spain Team Profile Qatar FIFA World Cup: The FIFA World Cup 2022 is slated to take place from 20th November to 18th December 2022 in Qatar.  The mega event will see 32 teams participating in and playing for the ultimate prize in football. This will be Spain’s 12th successive appearance at the football World Cup and 16th in total. Spain is currently standing at the 7th position in the FIFA rankings.

Spain managed to win the World Cup once in 2010 when the mega tournament was played in South Africa. Spain became the first team to win two consecutive European Championships and three major tournaments (Euro 2008, 2010 World Cup, and Euro 2012). As always Spain will look to attack and dominate their opponents.

Spain, commonly known by fans as "La Furia Roja", will look slightly different at this year’s World Cup with young players in the side. The team will look forward to this year’s World Cup and forget all the experiences of the previous edition. Spain’s manager Luis Enrique has well managed to impress as the team ended at the top of the UEFA qualifying group table and confirmed their spot for the Qatar World Cup. Spain was in Group B of the World Cup qualifiers along with Sweden, Greece, Georgia, and Kosovo. Spain won six out of eight matches.
