Morocco national football team defeated Cristiano Ronaldo-starer Portugal in the quarter-final of FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar on December 10, Saturday. Portugal suffered a shock 1-0 defeat against Morocco. By the virtue of this historic win, Morocco became the first African team to reach semifinals of the mega football tournament. They will now play against France in the semifinal on Thursday, December 15.
Portuguese star player Cristiano Ronaldo and his team members were seen in tears after the final whistle was blown. Meanwhile, pictures and videos of Morocco midfielder Sofiane Boufal celebrating with his mother after his team's sensational win over Portugal went viral on internet.

This was Ronaldo's fifth World Cup and he has most likely played his final World Cup match.
The two semifinals will be played on December 14 and 15. The teams losing the matches will play for third place on Saturday, December 17. The final will be played on Sunday, December 18.
