Portugal suffered a shock 1-0 defeat against Morocco. By the virtue of this historic win, Morocco became the first African team to reach semifinals of the mega football tournament. They will now play against France in the semifinal on Thursday, December 15.

This was Ronaldo's fifth World Cup and he has most likely played his final World Cup match.
The two semifinals will be played on December 14 and 15. The teams losing the matches will play for third place on Saturday, December 17. The final will be played on Sunday, December 18.
