FIFA World Cup: In a Group B match of the FIFA World Cup 2022, England will start their World Cup campaign by playing against Iran. This is for the third time that Iran will take part in the largest platform in the world. Iran is currently standing at 21 and will be looking to play freely but England on the other side has a habit of winning the first World Cup clash and then losing out o the next. Iran won the opening match in 1998, 2006, and 2018.


On paper, England has a better squad and record than Wales, the United States, and Iran. They qualified for Qatar with no real problems and traveled as the European Championship runners-up. Their manager Gareth Southgate has declared that his side will be taking a known ahead of their opening clash against Iran.


Senegal vs Netherlands:


In the third match of the FIFA World Cup 2022, Senegal will lock horns against the Netherlands.  Ever since Louis van Gaal came out of retirement and got hired as manager, the Netherlands have gone 15 games without a loss. Senegal on the other side, are Africa's highest-ranked team (18th) and have lost just one of their past eight matches. The Lions of Teranga will be aiming to become the first African team to progress beyond the quarterfinal stage at a World Cup. The feat was achieved by Cameroon in 1990, Ghana in 2010, and Senegal in 2002.


USA vs Wales:


The United States have once again made it to the World Cup after its last appearance back in 2014. They concluded third in their CONCACAF qualifying group after Canada and Mexico. Wales on the other side will be appearing for the first time at a World Cup finals in 64 years. Their manager Robert Paige will be looking to the leadership finesse of Gareth Bale.
