Euro 2024 Final: Lamine Yamal's historic Euro 2024 campaign ended triumphant, as Spain ousted England 2-1 in the final to win their third Euro in past 5 editions, and 4th overall, which is now a record, as they go past Germany, with whom they were tied for the most titles before the final (3).

Among the list of many records broken by the Spanish winger throughout the tournament, one will constantly be talked about for ages, as he overtakes Cristiano Ronaldo for number of assists in the knockout stages of Euro championships. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, who was playing in a record 6th Euro's, has so far managed to provide only two assists, whereas, a 17-year old wonderboy from Spain manages 3 assists within his first 4 knockout games for his country.

However, Lamine Yamal is yet to cross Cristiano Ronaldo for the number of assists at Euro championships, as the Portuguese veteran is the all-time leading assist provider at the tournament with 8 assists, and Yamal for now has 4 assists. The Spanish winger, though, is level with CR7 for goal contributions in knockout stages of Euro's.
