Arsenal progressed through to the quarter-finals after recording a convincing 3-0 win away at Preston North End, but will be facing Crystal Palace now, a side that has a history of causing trouble to the 'Big 6'.


Newcastle United avenged their defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League by handing them a 2-0 defeat and are set to face Brentford in their quarter-final fixture.


Southampton's dismal season sees some light, as they make their way into the last eight, but will be hsoting reigning EFL Cup champions Liverpool.


The Reds played out an intense and entertaining 5-goal thriller against Brighton and Hove Albion in Falmer and are one of the most in-form teams in Europe this season, and therefore, Southampton will have an uphill task against Arne Slot's men.
