Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Leaves Manchester United, Joins Real Madrid Youth Team

12-year-old Cristiano Jr has been part of several youth academies already including Juventus and Manchester United.

After footballing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's contract was terminated by Premier League giants Manchester United, it has now been confirmed that his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has also left the club's youth academy. In addition, Cristiano Jr. has now joined Real Madrid's youth team on Wednesday.

The news comes after Ronaldo was also spotted training at the Real Madrid facility as he currently finds himself with no club. Notably, Ronaldo's departure from United following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan was one of the biggest sporting controversies of 2022.

Coming back to Cristiano Jr, the 12-year-old has been part of several youth academies already, travelling to different parts of Europe along with his dad. He has been part of Juventus and Manchester United other than and Real Madrid, his current academy. 

Forgettable season so far for CR7

While senior Ronaldo had rejoined United on a two-year deal from Juventus and a had a dream start to his second stint, netting a brace as winning the Player of the Match award, it was a terrible ending to his stay this year.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner did not enjoy a good relationship with the club's new manager Erik Ten Hag and had a fall out this season. Later, Ronaldo faced a suspension from the club when he refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur. The issue escalated and after Ronaldo's explosive interview with Morgan, it was confirmed that both the parties will part ways.

Cristiano Ronaldo Yet To Join Al Nassr

Even though Saudi club Al Nassr has offered a lucrative offer to Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly worth €200 million per season, the 37-year-old hasn't yet agreed to the same. Despite that, speculations are rife that he could agree to join the club from January 01, 2023, if he fails to get any other offer from a prominent club in the Europe.
