Colombia Vs Panama Copa America 2024 Quarter Final: Colombia are putting on a show at Copa America 2024, as La Tricolor advance to the semi-finals of the opponents by thrashing Panama 5-0, as the latter stood no chance against the wrath of James Rodriguez-led side. It was a complete team effort from the side at State Farm Stadium as there were five different goal scorers in the match.
Goals from Jhon Cordoba, James Rodriguez, Luis Diaz already effectively put the game to bed inside the first half, but the Colombian side did not settle for less, as second-half goals from Richard Rios and Miguel Borja completed in what was indeed a 5-star performance Nestor Lorenzo's men.
James Rodriguez bagged the Player of the Match award for his excellent performance and the Colombian is now second on all-time assists record list with 8 assists in Copa America, behind Lionel Messi, who has astounding 18 assists.

Given the fact that alogside Uruguay, Colombia are the only side that are playing exceptional brand of football makes it even hard to believe that they are still 'dark horses' and not favourites, as per many experts. Colombia are on a 27-game unbeaten run and can very well go on to win this year's Copa America, as they seem to be scoring at will and their attacking flair has indeed lit the tournament.
