Borussia Dortmund have signed former player Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a season-long loan deal. The news of the deal was reported by the renowned Italian transfer guru and journalist, Fabrizio Romano via his social media handles.

The signing will see The Red Devils load off players that are surplus to requirements as they aim to stable their sinking ship this season under the Dutch coach, Erik Ten Hag. However, both the clubs are yet to announce the transfer officially as medicals are in place to be done with.

Jadon Sancho's Career In A Nutshell

Jadon Sancho has always been under the spotlight as a young and upcoming star ever since 2017. The former Manchester City youth academy product never got a chance to shone at Manchester City. But, his fortunes took a massive turn when he signed for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, as his extremely impressive performances even earned him a call up for The Three Lions (England's National Football team) in October 2018.

The forward made into the final squad for Euro 2020 for England and made it to the final, only to lose to eventual winners Italy on penalties, in which he missed a decisive spot kick alongside fellow teammate Marcus Rashford and Premier League rivals' Arsenal's 'starboy', Bukayo Saka.

During his tenure at Borussia Dortmund, he scored 50 goals in 137 appearances in all competitions. But he saw a drastic dip in form as his tenure at United was an injury-prone period, full of criticism and hate from the United faithful.

With Euro 2024 coming up, Jadon Sancho will be aiming to leave the ghosts of Old Trafford behind and regain his midas touch as at the tender age of 23 years, his career is seemingly getting numbered shorter and shorter.
