FC Heidenheim Vs Bayern Munich: FC Bayern's legendary midfielder Thomas Muller has created history by becoming the second player in the club's history to register 700 appearances in all competitions. The German legend has reached the feat during Bayern Munich's Bundesliga fixture against FC Heidenheim. However, the fixture ended in a defeat for the Bavarians as the home side completed a historic turnaround to come from two goals down to win 3-2.

Bayern Munich couldn't do much to pay tribute to one of their greatest players of all time as Thomas Muller, in the process, became the first ever outfield player of Bayern Munich to reach 700 appearances, with only Sepp Maier leading the chat aead of him with 709 appearances.

Thomas Muller: The Ultimate One Club Man 

Thomas Muller has been one of the greatest players of the modern era and the German has won it all at domestic and international level, with only Euro being the exception from his trophy cabinet. The 34 year old has spent his entire club career at Bayern Munich and the German legend has never gone trophyless since 2012 but might see his streak end this season as only UEFA Champions League stads as the sole hope for silverware for the Bavarians this season.

In his 700 appearances for the club, the attacking midfielder has managed 239 goals and 217 assists across all competitons and is amongst the leading assist providers in the history of the sport.
