Arsenal Beat Leicester City: Arsenal script a memorable win at home against Leicester City to register their fourth Premier League win of the season, and with that, the Gunners now sit level on points with reigning champions Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta's men took a two-goal lead into the half-time thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli, who scored his first Premier League goal since March 2024, and Leonardo Trossard.
But the second-hald stunned the home crowd as Leicester City managed to cut down the two-goal deficit to nil.
It looked like Arsenal were dropping points for the third time this season, but Leonardo Trossard's impressive positioning saw him take a shot from an acute angle, whick took a heavy deflection off Wilfred Ndidi's knee, and with that, the Emirates Stadium went berserk.
Kai Havertz did the icing on the cake in the 99th minute, as his lucky goal gifted Arsenal their fourth goal of the match, and the scoreline at the full-time whistle read 4-2.

The Arsenal manager emphaised on the importance of winning every match and that, it was a bit 'emotional' victory.
"I have to check but I don’t think it was on that paper. It got very emotional, more emotional than we wanted certainly but I am really pleased with the performance the way we played, the chances we created, how we dominated the game and after 2-0 the result should have been much bigger," said Mikel Arteta in the post-match interview.
"But this is the Premier League, the quality of the opponent, the quality of Leicester, they scored two goals and I’m even happier how we dealt with that situation afterwards. It was emotionally superb, in control, very clear in what we have to do, how consistent we have to be to attack the spaces and continue to do a lot of the things we were already doing, I think we fully deserved to win the game," said the Spaniard.
Mikel Arteta did not take Manchester City's draw with Newcastle United into consideration, and added that he wants to focus upon the performance of his own side.
"It’s the sixth game in the Premier League. We are in September, so we want to win every game and do our best to do that, and that’s it. Let’s go game by game and try to improve every week. We talk about that in September, regardless what we do we are in September. Of course we want to win and start to build the right platform for the season and be in every competition in the places and areas that we want. In order to do that, you have to continue to win, win, win, that’s the demand. You see the level of the other teams in the league but we can only control what we do," he added.
