In the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr continued to be at the top with a facile 3-0 win against Damac. It was Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat trick that helped Al Nassr win the game.

The Portugal skipper has scored two hat-tricks in his last three games for Al Nassr, and was once again in scintillating form at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium in Abha, on Saturday.

Al Nassr have currently made 43 points from 18 games and Al Ittihad is at the second spot with 41 from 18 fixtures. Ronaldo finished his hat-trick in the 44th minute of the game after getting a solid pass from the penalty spot.

Earlier, amid criticism for poor form in his competitive career in Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo showed that he still hasn't lost his goal-scoring ability despite being 38 years of age. Turning up for his new club Al-Nassr, having just scored once in the league, Ronaldo scored as many as four goals to help his side thump Al-Wehda 4-0 in a Saudi Pro League fixture.

In the process, the ex-Manchester United forward passed the 500-goal mark and took his overall goals tally in domestic leagues to 503. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored twice in each of the two halves and showed glimpses of his prime form even though the opposition, in all fairness, wasn't as strong as some of the others he has scored a hat-trick against in the past.
