Paraguay Football Incident: South American football has always been popular for some or the other reason, and always gives the football fans around the world something to talk about. Be it their never-ending production of world-calls 'ballers', young prodigies, fan violence, infamous exchange of blows between rival players, and amongst them the most popular — the die-hard support and passion of fans for their country/clubs.
Paraguay Football Incident — As It Happened
One such incident took place in the lower league of Paraguay, where Libertad de Pirayu were celebrating their title win with their fans via a bus parade, as the players showcased their immense happiness upon winning the elusive trophy.
What happened during the parade was extremely hilarious, as the players forgot to mind the power lines with live current flowing, and while they lifted the trophy in the air along the way, a power line which was at a lower level ended up catching the trophy and such was the high voltage in the line that the players had to react swiftly in order to save themselves from a tragedy.

Even though it looks hilarious to watch, one must know that these incidents are highly dangerous and could have been fatal if the player had remained stuck to the trophy. Afterwards, the fans did try their best to knock the trophy off the wire via a wooden stick and the local police arrived at the scene.
As soon as the videos and clips recorded by the locals were posted on social media, they went viral and are now making waves all over the social media. But such incidents do highlight the fact that safety measures should always be minded before conducting any sort of celebration.
