New Delhi: Aussie star opener David Warner was in spectacular form in last year's Indian Premier League. After missing the 2018 IPL season of the cash-rich tournament, following a ban by BCCI due to ball-tampering scandal, David Warner made his comeback with a bang as he notched up 692 runs from 12 matches he played for his team Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2019 season.

Before heading out for his national team for 2019 World Cup preparations, Warner went all guns blazing in his last match against Kings XI Punjab and was adjudged 'man of the match' for his fine knock.

On Thursday, David Warner took to Instagram to reveal his favourite IPL moment so far. The fiery opener posted a picture his ream Sunrisers Hyderabad lifting the IPL 2016 trophy and called the team his "Indian Family". "My favourite IPL moment would have to be this for sure. My Indian family @SunRisers," he captioned the photo.

Earlier, David Warner shared a time-lapse video on Instagram of him shaving his head as a gesture of support to medical staff working amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Warner captioned the post as: "Been nominated to shave my head in support of those working on the frontline #Covid-19 here is a time-lapse. I think my debut was the last time I recall I've done this. Like it or not".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19. IPL 2020 has postponed until April 15 due to the pandemic.
