Pakistan's Dismal Performance Under Ashraf's Tenure

Following the World Cup 2023, Babar Azam resigned as the captain in all formats. In response, Ashraf summoned team director Mickey Arthur and coach Grant Bradburn to report to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Eventually, both foreign coaches resigned from their positions.

Under the leadership of new Test captain Shan Masood, Pakistan suffered a 3-0 defeat to Australia.Currently, the Men In Green are in New Zealand, participating in a five-match T20I series against the host nation under the captaincy of Shaheen Afridi. They have faced comprehensive defeats in the first four matches and find themselves trailing 4-0. The last match of the series is scheduled to be played on January 21 (Sunday).
