New Delhi: Indian cricket team's young players, Mayank Agarwal, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal revisited some of their memorable performances in international cricket as they caught up with each other in a show on BCCI.tv.


During the show, team India's young leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recalled an incident when veteran MS Dhoni helped him dismiss Australia's hard-hitting batsman Glenn Maxwell during Australia's tour of India in 2017.


"Me and Mahi bhai had planned to bowl him wide of off stump. I thought he will come down the track and that is why I threw the ball much wider and got the wicket," Chahal explained Maxwell's dismissal from the third ODI of that series.


Chahal also revealed that Maxwell used to attempt to swing his bat hard at every ball to hit some big shots, every time when the leg-spinner


"He was impatient in that series and used to attack me as soon as I came into bowl. I had a chat with Mahi bhai on how to tackle this. He replied we'll mix it up and won't show him the wide delivery. So that when I bowl the ball outside off stump, it should be a wicket-taking delivery," Chahal recalled MS Dhoni's words.


Last month, Chahal made the 'Blue Brigade' emotional as he shared a throwback picture with India's legendary wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni on his social-media, making the fans nostalgic about their beloved star Dhoni with most of them conveying their feelings of missing the Indian great.


Sharing the picture for the two, Chahal on Twitter wrote, "Miss being called tilli from behind the stumps by the legend."






MS Dhoni hasn't played a single game for his national squad after their heartbreaking exit from the semi-finals of the 50-overs 2019 World Cup in England.
