Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday scored his 700th goal and he is the first player who has achieved this feat. The 37-year-old did not find a spot in the starting XI, but then he stepped onto the field as an early substitute for Anthony Martial and scored a winning goal in the match against Everton.

In 944 appearances, Cristiano Ronaldo has amassed 700 goals. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh then took to his Twitter handle and wished Cristiano. Yuvraj tweeted, “King is back! The form is temporary class is forever!!! Welcome to the 700 clubs! No7 #Goat#legend siiiiii.”

As soon as he tweeted, people started trolling him for the phrase ‘welcome to 700 club.’  He got mocked on Twitter, here are some of the reactions:

“That is really impressive when you score 700 goals, it is a huge performance,” Ten Hag said. “I am really happy for him, and congratulations to him.

“He had to wait for it but I am sure more goals will come. Every player needs goals. I have worked with goalscorers, they need goals every season to have that feeling. Once they have some goals, they have the flow. Games go easier. That will happen with him as well,” he said.
