WTC 2023-25: The race for World Test Championship 2025 Final is heating up as England and Bangladesh have made a huge stride towards their dreams of reaching the elusive event. England defeated Sri Lanka by 5 wickets yesterday, which was followed by Bangladesh's historical win against Pakistan today, and with that, Pakistan's ambitions of making into the World Test Championship 2025 Final are all but dead.

As for Sri Lanka, only a miracle and a series of desired results in other fixtures will see them seal a place in World Test Championship 2025 Final, as England have dented their hopes severely. But England themselves are hanging in the middle, as they suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat against India earlier in the year, and now, they need to win almost every remaining matches in their cycle to stand a chance to contest in the final.

India and Australia competed in the final of 2023 and by the looks of it, cricketing fans are set to see the repeat of the final, as both sides are looking a class apart from the rest of the teams. India are sitting comfortably at first position with a PCT of 68.52, followed by Austrlia, who have 62.5.

With their respective wins, England now sit fimrly placed at fourth with PCT of 41.07, followed by Bangladesh, who have leaped over the likes of Sri Lanka; SouthAfrica; Pakistan to sit fifth with PCT of 40.00.

All eyes will be on the upcoming test matches of England Vs Sri Lanka and Pakistan Vs Bangladesh, as all the four sides are in for a do-or-die situation.
