Rohit Sharma, who struck a brilliant century against Pakistan at Old Trafford to help India clinch their seventh connective win over the arch rivals in the ICC World Cup has drawn applause from all quarters for his superlative batting.

After Indian skipper Kohli praised the seasoned opener for his stellar knock against Pakistan in the post match presentation, Yuvraj Singh has joined Rohit's fan club and gone onto make a big prediction for the 'Hitman' in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Yuvraj, who recently retired from cricket, has predicted that Rohit will win the man of the series in this World Cup. It is notable that Yuvraj was the man of the tournament when India last lifted the trophy in 2011.

Yuvraj shared an interesting insight into what led him to make this prediction about Rohit Sharma. Yuvraj tweeted that he had recently had a discussion with Rohit Sharma where they discussed Rohit not being able to convert starts into big scores.

"Chatting to Rohit at ipl time ! Discussion about getting starts but not getting big runs , and I was like you don’t know what lies ahead of you it’s happening for a reason ! Same words told to me by @sachin_rt before 2011 wcup , my mos of 2019 prediction from india @ImRo45" Yuvraj wrote on Twitter.

Yuvraj said that he consoled Rohit by saying that it might be an indication that something good might happen in future. Yuvraj revealed that Sachin Tendulkar had said something similar to tell him before the 2011 World Cup.
