Aliya Riaz is proving to be a bright spot for Pakistan Women's cricket, as she continues to produce an innings of sheer determination, fight-back, and class. The Pakistan Women all-rounder was the highest scorer of the side on Friday with 26 runs in 32 balls, which included 3 fours, before getting dismissed by Annabel Sutherland.


Ashleigh Gardner was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets, and was well-complemented by the likes of Annabel Sutherland and Georgia Wareham, who picked two wickets-each.


In reply, Australia Women were all business, as they aimed at crossing the finish line way before time. Skipper Alyssa Healy led from front by scoring 37 off 23, as Australia chased won the total inside 11 overs.
