The Indian Men's Cricket team is currently on a mission to identify the set of players that can help India lift the ODI World Cup later this year and go to USA and Canada for the T20 World Cup scheduled in 2024. Shubman Gill is definitely one man who has made the most of the opportunities so far. While he scored a record-breaking double hundred in the first ODI against New Zealand in Hyderabad, later on the tour, he brought up his maiden T20I hundred.
As a result of some of the fine performances put in by the youngsters along with contributions from some of the senior members of the side, the Men in Blue won the ODI series 3-0 before taking the T20Is 2-1. The final T20I in Ahmedabad saw the hosts completely dominating the Black Caps as they registered a win by a record 168 runs. Riding on Gill's hundred (126), the highest score ever by an Indian in T20Is, India posted a mammoth 234/4 before bowling out the opposition for 66.
Fair to say the mood in the Indian dressing room would be pumped up and joyful after the team's biggest-ever victory in a T20I international. And the same was on display in a reel on Instagram in which the players could be seen having fun in their hotel room.
Gill along with his opening partner for the New Zealand series Ishan Kishan, who also scored a double hundred in an ODI against Bangladesh in December last year, recreated a scene from Reality Show 'Roadies.' Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal also features in this hilarious video shared by the Gujarat Titans batter on Instagram.

The next assignment for Team India will be the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as India host Australia for a four-match Test series starting February 9.
