English all-rounder Moeen Ali is widely renowned for his terrific batting and spin bowling skills. He exhibited some of them in the recently concluded Test series against India which the Englishmen won 4-1. But on Tuesday, the veteran cricketer decided to surprise the Worcestershire fans during the County Championship game against Yorkshire with a sudden change in the action of his bowling.

The incident happened during the 87th over of the Yorkshire innings when they were batting at a score of 403/8. Ali, who was on the attack, ran up to bowl in his usual manner but caught the opposition by complete surprise by opting for a medium pace bowl, which was promptly flicked on by the batsman and caught out.

Batsman James Logan was completely bamboozled by that delivery while wicketkeeper Ben Cox made no mistake in grabbing a simple catch.

Yorkshire bowled out for 428 within 90.5 overs. In reply, Worcestershire could only score 340 runs in 102 overs, handing over a lead of 88 runs to the opposition.
