Chennai Super Kings off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on Monday revealed how Shane Watson batted bravely through a bloodied knee during the IPL Final match against Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad.


According to the veteran spinner, Watson received six stitches on his left leg after he dived to save his wicket when CSK was chasing the target.

Harbhajan posted a picture on his Insta story of Watson's bloodied leg form the IPL Final against MI.

"Can you guys see the blood on his knee.. He got 6 stitches after the game..Got injured while diving but continue to bat without telling anyone," Harbhajan wrote on his Insta story and shared a picture as well.

After the revelation, fans on Twitter saluted Watson's remarkable effort. The star opener was in fiery form during the finals as he almost single-handedly won the match for Chennai with his innings of 80 off 59 balls knock.
