Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former Indian skipper, turns 37 today. The man who entered the Indian dressing room about 14 years ago and gradually become the foundation of a team which currently one of the strongest in the world.


Currently, MS Dhoni is touring England with the Indian team for a bilateral series. Right a day before his 38th birthday, the men-in-blue lost the 2nd T20I against England by 5 wickets. Despite the loss, the Indian cricketers looked happy as they celebrated Dhoni’s birthday at the team hotel in Cardiff.


Apart from the team members, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi, her daughter Ziva and Bollywood star Anushka were also present when the Indian legend cut his birthday cake.

Though India failed to pull out a victory against the Englishmen but Dhoni played a vital role with the bat. His contribution came at the moment when the men-in-blue were reeling against England’s bowling attack.


Dhoni scored 32 runs of just 25 balls including 5 boundaries and remained unbeaten.
