New Delhi: New Zealand pacer Trent Boult put his athleticism on show with a piece of boundary-line brilliance in the Indian Premier League

Boult, playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, produced a gravity-defying dive to stop a certain six against Gujarat Lions in Rajkot.

The Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina tried to smash Piyush Chawla over midwicket after striding down the track. The New Zealander, who was at the boundary, dived, caught and released the ball in one motion to deny the southpaw a six.

Boult returned figures of 1-40 from his four overs in the match, but his spectacular effort did come in a winning performance.

Kolkata Knight Riders chased huge total of 183 runs to defeat Gujarat Lions by 10 wickets.
